Adriana is a passionate ESL professional who loves teaching and sharing her knowledge with others. She has a 2002 Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Babes Bolyai University in Romania and a 2012 Master’s of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction with ESL Specialization from American College of Education, Indianapolis, Indiana. She taught English as a Foreign Language for 4 years in Europe ( 2003-2007), and she has been an ESL professional in North Carolina since 2007. Adriana taught ESL students for almost 9 years and she has been a teacher trainer since January 2016. She went from teaching English Learners in the classroom to training ESL and General Education teachers how to teach English Learners effectively. Adriana created ESL classes both for online and on-site training for teachers who teach English Learners in diverse classrooms. Providing ESL Professional Development is something that she does with a lot of passion. She loves to see that the Professional Development she provides makes participants feel appreciative that they can now better understand their English Learners, and that now they come away with more confidence in their teaching practices. Adriana also had the honor to provide professional development for other ESL and language professionals at the 2017 TESOL Convention in Seattle, Washington, USA. Adriana considers this platform as a great opportunity to share her expertise with professionals from all over the world, with the hope that a wide range of teachers will benefit from it and consequently feel confident about the way they teach their English Learners.
