Learn how to be a more authentic and effective leader who is both powerfully ethical. This program combines Humanistic Management Philosophy with Behavioral Science to arm you with the technical skills required to master whatever challenges you face with grace and dignity. Humanism is a philosophy that centers on respect for your fellow humans. It is a recognition that our behavior impacts others. We don’t live in a vacuum. When we are in a leadership position, we have even more responsibility to do good, not just for ourselves, but for our team as well. Humanistic management or leadership is a philosophic approach that is at once: compassionate, ethical, reasonable and strategic. To be an effective ethical leader requires a variety of different interrelated skills. The program will provide a grounding in the humanist philosophy and apply it to various aspects of leadership, from how to think strategically, to how to more effectively manage and lead people. Can satisfy federally mandated supervisor (managerial development) requirement The curriculum covers the basics of applied humanistic leadership philosophy, communication strategies, critical thinking, strategy development, and behavioral-based change management skills. When combined with the Humanistic Conflict Management Certificate program, it allows you to become a Certified Humanistic Leadership Professional.
